The roots of Women’s day can be traced back to 1908, when 150000 women marched through New York City demanding voting rights, better pay and shorter working hours. The following year, the first National Woman’s Day was observed in the US on 28 February by a declaration by the Socialist Party of America.

These honorable female personalities of our society have inspired me throughout my journey in creating Sambav and making it possible! I salute the role played by women in medicine throughout history.
