Green Tea is readily available in any grocery shops in India. India being the largest producer of tea in the world we can take the advantage of its cost, quality and health benefits. There are many direct and indirect benefits of drinking green tea. How to prepare Green tea?
- Take one teaspoon of green tea leaves.
- Now, take the tea leaves in a strainer/sieve and keep aside.
- Now, take a stainless steel pot/pan and boil the water.
- Now, place the sieve/ strainer over the cup or mug.
- Next, pour the hot water into the cup and let the tea steep for 3 minutes.
It is very easy and can be prepared by males also.
Indirect benefits:
1.Regular tea which is prepared with milk and added sugar will carry huge amount of calories and direct sugars which are harmful when person consumes more times. (Direct sugars are the culprits for most of the metabolic diseases and heart problems). This is avoided in green tea as traditional way of preparation will not have milk and sugar in it and can be consumed multiple times in a day.

b. Antioxidants help in increasing body immunity, prevent cardiovascular disease, protects against cancers.
